Accessibility statement
WebValet scans customers' sites for accessibility problems, so our own site has to hold up. We aim for WCAG 2.2 level AA across webvalet.app, the audit reports and the dashboard at app.webvalet.app.
Effective October 21, 2026Questions: privacy@webvalet.app
- Semantic HTML with landmarks, headings in order and labelled form controls.
- Keyboard access to every control, visible focus states and skip links.
- Colour contrast of at least 4.5:1 for text on our dark theme; scores and statuses never rely on colour alone (they carry labels and icons).
- Animations respect the reduced-motion setting; charts have text alternatives and data tables.
- Text can be resized to 200% without loss of content; layouts work at 320px wide.
- Automated checks (axe, Lighthouse) run on every release; manual screen-reader checks with VoiceOver and NVDA on key flows (audit, sign-in, onboarding, fixes).
- Some interactive charts (bump chart, treemap) are complex to navigate by keyboard; each has a data table alternative, and we are improving focus order.
- Screenshots of audited websites are images of third-party pages; we describe them in text but cannot make the page inside them accessible.
- PDF reports are tagged, but very long issue lists may read awkwardly in some PDF readers.
- Third-party pages we link to (Polar checkout, Google consent) are outside our control.
